Christina Omideyi

Christina Omideyi has a varied civil practice in family law, children cases, and contested probate matters. She is also experienced in housing work and other local authority disputes. Christina has been a member of Albany Chambers since it was founded.

Philip Martin

Phillip Martin was called to the Bar in 1995. He is a member of Inner Temple. Although a member of Albany Chambers here in London, he is based in the North West and undertakes work on the Northern Circuit in Liverpool, Manchester and Preston.
Phillip’s practice includes family proceedings and civil law, but in criminal law he specialises in sexual offences and GBH cases on children.

Jeminipe Akin-Olugbade

Mr. Akin-Olugbade (Jemi) practises almost exclusively in criminal law, at the Crown Court and on Appeal. He has many years of experience in defence work, and has appeared in some notable cases.

Beata Kopel

Miss Kopel has built a very busy criminal law practice in recent years, appearing at the Crown Court in Gross Negligence Manslaughter cases and at the Central Criminal Court in Murder trials

Andrew Kasriel

Andrew Kasriel read Engineering Science at Merton College Oxford, and further specialised at Imperial College London. He has a background of over 30 years in the construction industry, and is a chartered engineer, both MICE and MIStructE.
He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and committee member of the London Branch, and also has some experience as a Mediator. He has acted in a number of construction and building cases, including Adjudications under the Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996, and has also lectured.

He is a member of Grays Inn, and was called in 2001.
He now has an established Chancery and Commercial practice specialising in land and property matters, conveyancing and landlord and tenant disputes, (including Leasehold Valuation Tribunals), as well as in banking, insurance, mortgage, and insolvency work.
He is a member of the Property Bar Association.



Vidhaata Shah

Vidhaata Shah read Law at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne.

Before commencing practice she worked in the legal department of a claims management company advising solicitors on personal injury claims. She then went on to work as a legal cost negotiator on behalf of defendant insurance companies.

Since joining the Bar, she has had a varied general common law practice with particular emphasis on crime, personal injury and family law. She also has a detailed knowledge of costs law, drafts points of dispute and attends detailed assessment hearings.

She is a member of Lincoln’s Inn and was called to the Bar in 2001.

Olufemi Awodele

Olufemi Awodele's Qualifications:

He was called to the Bar in 2002 by Grays Inn.

Prior to commencing practice, Olufemi Awodele worked in the Commercial Disputes Group of an international law firm. He also worked as an Advocate, defending tenants and mortgagors in possession proceedings. He was a legal adviser in Housing, Employment and Immigration Law.

Since joining the Bar, he has had a combined civil and criminal practice.

Eva Aston-Cheraif

Eva Aston-Cheraif attended Manchester University, followed by Kings’ College, London. Eva’s main practice in law is civil, specialising in intellectual property and commercial matters at all levels. Eva also has arts and media degrees and has successful managed businesses in the entertainment industry.

Esther Cantor

Education: LLB Hons University of London (Birkbeck College)

Before practising at the Bar, Esther worked in the travel industry both in London and New York as Operations Manager specializing in corporate travel.
Esther has developed a mixed civil practice, specializing in Landlord & Tenant (including possession orders), Family Law (including Children’s Act and ancillary relief cases), Employment Law, and Immigration.
She has also appeared in the Criminal Courts, both in Defence and Prosecution.

She regularly participates at Birkbeck College lectures and CCJO conferences, the most recent was the “Reparation for the victims of Genocide” and “Terrorism and Human Rights”.

A member of Lincoln’s Inn, she was called to the Bar in 2002
